In her Sex And The City revival programme, Sarah Jessica Parker has teased the return of actor John Corbett. The actress shared a photo of herself with her former co-star, Aiden Shaw, who played Carrie Bradshaw in the spin-off And Just Like That.

Parker was reunited with Cynthia Nixon, who played Miranda Hobbes, and Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte York, in the film And Just Like That. The romantic comedy drama moves ahead in time by 20 years and follows the characters as they embark on a “new chapter” in their 50s in New York City.

The social media post on Instagram had a carousel of pictures of Parker and Corbett holding hands as they walked down a street in New York City with the phrase, “Shh. Don’t tell anyone.”

After first making an appearance in Sex and The City’s third season, Corbett’s character—a furniture designer—became Parker’s romantic interest. The original television series had six seasons from 1998 to 2004 and two feature pictures from 2008 and 2010 as well. And Just Like That premiered on HBO in December 2021, and in March 2022, it received a second season order.

Other beloved characters from the previous series, such as Evan Handler as Charlotte’s husband Harry Goldenblatt, Mario Cantone as Anthony Marentino, and David Eigenberg as Steve Brady, have made appearances in the sequel series. Chris Noth, who had previously played Mr. Big, made a second appearance. However, in December 2021, several women accused him of sexual assault. Noth’s character was later killed off in the first episode of And Just Like That.

Parker, Nixon, and Davis also serve as executive producers.
