How To Get Away With Murder producer charged with sexual assault

Laurence Andries, a producer and a TV writer who is known for shows including Blue Bloods, How to Get Away With Murder, and The Pacific, has been charged with six felony counts of sexual assault in Los Angeles.

The accuser, John Doe, has accused the TV writer of sexually assaulted him in June 2022 after they met for drinks. The accused was arrested in August last year, after charges were filed by Los Angeles District Attorney. As per the Los Angeles Times, he remains free on $150,000 bond and has not yet had a preliminary hearing.

The news of the charge came to light when John Doe, a military veteran, appeared for an interview on ABC07, calling Andries his mentor in the industry.

“I believe that he drugged one of my drinks, took me to his place and then … I can’t say the word. I’m sorry, I can’t say it,” stated John to ABC-7.
