‘Hindu dharam ke upar 1000 Munawar kurbaan’ Elvish Yadav apologies for hurting Hindu sentiments

The whole controversy began when Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav was spotted in a friendly banter with Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui.

The winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav, has occasionally been involved in heated debates. The YouTuber has frequently been in the news since winning the reality programme hosted by Salman Khan, usually for the wrong reasons. Elvish Yadav is having a hard time handling his sudden fame, whether it’s because of an alleged drug case against him or altercations with other content makers.

The YouTuber was able to handle the previously mentioned scandals, but the latest incident involving him and Munawar Faruqui has caused a great deal of trouble for the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner—so much so that he recently had to apologise in public.

For those who don’t know, Munawar Faruqui and Elvish Yadav have always been at odds with one another simply because they practice different religions. As it occurred, Elvish Yadav and Munawar Faruqui took part in the same celebrity match that was recently held for charity and featured stars like Sachin Tendulkar, Kunal Kemmu, Akshay Kumar, and others.

Recently, a photo of Munawar Faruqui and Elvish Yadav taking a selfie during the same game went viral. After the photo went viral, people started asking Elvish if he was a real Hindu. In a statement, Elvish maintained that Munawar and he were simply acting politely towards one another and that he could not just pick a fight at random in a public setting.

But Elvish has since apologised in public, captioning the video with the words “I’m sorry.” The YouTuber claims that since his photo of Munawar Faruqui went viral, he has received death threats in addition to inquiries concerning his beliefs. He freely admitted that, in his opinion, his religion comes first and that, to be true to his trust in God, he would be willing to sacrifice thousands of Munawar.

Munawar Faruqui hasn’t responded to Elvish’s video as of yet. It would be interesting to see how the Bigg Boss 17 winner responds to the current circumstances—whether he takes it personally or not.
