Disney made the exciting revelation that Mufasa: The Lion King, a prequel to the acclaimed 2019 film The Lion King, is already in development.

A cute animated picture of a young Mufasa as a lion cub was posted by GMA on April 28 on its social media network, X (previously Twitter). “Tomorrow, the trailer for ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ will premiere exclusively on GMA,” the post hinted. The picture showed Mufasa jumping happily from a tree, which increased fan expectation.

The official trailer for the movie was revealed by the makers today, and fans are losing their minds! The gripping tale is making many shiver, and they are eagerly anticipating its release.

The makers shared the official trailer on Instagram along with the caption, “A lion who would change our lives forever. #Mufasa: The Lion King, in theatres December 20.”
