Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, India’s largest mid-priced hotel chain, has announced the signing of a new property in Garudeshwar, Gujarat, marking its 32nd property in the state. This expansion underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in tourism and pilgrimage-driven markets.
The new hotel, Lemon Tree Hotel, Garudeshwar, will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. The property will feature 90 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a banquet hall, a meeting room, and recreational amenities including a swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre.
Garudeshwar is emerging as a significant destination within Gujarat’s tourism ecosystem, benefiting from its proximity to key attractions such as the Statue of Unity and improving infrastructure. The hotel is strategically located with convenient access, being approximately 85 km from Vadodara International Airport and around 5 km from Ekta Nagar Railway Station.
Mr. Neelendra Singh, Managing Director of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd., commented on the signing: “Destinations like Garudeshwar are emerging as important nodes within India’s expanding tourism and pilgrimage landscape, where increasing visitor flows are driving demand for quality, branded hospitality. Our focus has been to build presence in such locations, where we see sustained demand supported by strong travel circuits. This signing reflects that approach and allows us to further strengthen our presence in Gujarat.”
Lemon Tree Hotels continues to expand its portfolio, aligning with evolving travel patterns across tourism and pilgrimage destinations in India. The company operates over 130 hotels across 80 cities in India and abroad, with a growing pipeline of upcoming properties.
