NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of , has announced the declaration of Commercial Operation Date (COD) for 87.50 MW of its solar capacity in . This development is part of a larger 150 MW solar project undertaken by a group company of NGEL, and the COD is effective from 19th April 2026.

With this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group has reached 89,615 MW, while the commercial capacity now stands at 88,535 MW. This marks a significant milestone in NTPC’s ongoing efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio and contribute to India’s sustainable energy goals.
