Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for the execution of an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for a ground-mounted solar power project with a capacity of 25 MWac / 35 MWp. The project also includes the development of evacuation infrastructure with a capacity of 50 MW, reinforcing the company’s presence in utility-scale solar EPC solutions.
The order has been awarded by one of India’s largest manufacturers of pig iron, castings, and seamless tubes. The contract is a domestic commercial order with an approximate value of ₹102.75 crore, excluding taxes. The scope of work covers end-to-end EPC execution on a turnkey basis, including design, procurement, construction, and associated evacuation infrastructure.
As per the terms of the award, the solar power project is scheduled to be completed during the financial year 2026–27. The aggregate project size stands at 25 MWac / 35 MWp, aligned with growing industrial demand for renewable energy and captive power solutions in India.
The company has confirmed that there is no promoter or promoter group interest in the entity awarding the contract. Additionally, the order does not fall under related party transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
