Tejas Networks wins BharatNet Last Mile Connectivity project in Tamil Nadu

Tejas Networks has announced its pivotal role in the BharatNet Last Mile Connectivity (LMC) project in Tamil Nadu. The company will supply its advanced GPON OLT, ONT, and Management Systems for this state-led initiative implemented by TANFINET (Tamil Nadu FibreNet Corporation Limited), with Polycab India Limited (PIL) as the Master System Integrator.

The BharatNet LMC project aims to deliver affordable high-speed broadband connectivity to approximately 50,000 government institutions, including schools and public health centers, from BharatNet sites at Gram Panchayat, Block, and District levels. This infrastructure will also support Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) services for rural households through collaborations with local cable operators and telecom providers.
