Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from NMDC Limited for a project worth Rs 758.07 crore, including GST.

The order involves development of a railway siding near Padapur Village along with bridges, PWD road diversion, associated civil works, feasibility study report (FSR), detailed project report (DPR), detailed engineering, execution, and project management consultancy (PMC) services for capacity expansion of Bacheli.

According to the company’s filing, the project is to be executed over a period of 36 months and falls under the normal course of business.

RVNL emerges as L1 bidder for Rs 244.33 crore West Central Railway traction upgrade project

Earlier on Thursday, RVNL had also emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a West Central Railway project worth Rs 244.33 crore related to the upgradation of the electric traction system in the Jabalpur Division.

That project involves design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of traction substations and associated railway electrification infrastructure between the Itarsi and Shridham section to support a 3000 MT loading target.
