RMC Switchgears secures Rs 19.23 crore order from MAHAGENCO for 10 MW solar PV project

RMC Switchgears Limited has recently informed exchanges that the company bagged work order worth Rs. 19,23,95,924/- (Rs. Nineteen Crore Twenty-Three Lakhs Ninety-Five Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-Four only) from Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO).

This contract is for the design, engineering, supply (excluding PV modules), unloading of PV modules at the site, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 10 MWAC cumulative capacity crystalline ground-mounted solar PV power plant under the MSKVY 2.0 scheme.

The project involves setting up a grid-interactive distributed agriculture feeder solarization system to enhance renewable energy adoption in Maharashtra. It will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis and includes three years of operation and maintenance (O&M). The site for this project is 33/11 kV Sakali Substation in Yawal Taluka, Jalgaon District, Maharashtra.
