L&T Technology Services Ltd (LTTS), a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has announced a strategic partnership with thyssenkrupp Steering to establish a cutting-edge global software development center in Pune, India. The announcement was made through a press release dated June 30, 2025, filed with the stock exchanges under SEBI regulations.

The new Pune center will be developed and managed by LTTS on behalf of thyssenkrupp Steering, a global leader in steering systems. The partnership aims to accelerate the development of next-generation automotive software, with a strong focus on embedded systems, functional safety, cybersecurity, and intelligent steering solutions.

According to LTTS, the software hub will cater to both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) markets and will play a pivotal role in advancing software-defined vehicle architectures. The collaboration is expected to strengthen thyssenkrupp’s global engineering expansion and align with its ambition to become the most trusted partner for steering solutions worldwide.
