Hind Rectifiers Ltd. (HIRECT) announced on Friday that it has acquired France-based BeLink Solutions, creating a European base to strengthen its global presence in next-generation robotics, power electronics, and electronics manufacturing services (EMS).

Deal structure and financials

The transaction involves Hirect acquiring BeLink’s business and operating assets for a cash consideration of EUR 1 million, fully funded through internal accruals. Additionally, a total infusion of EUR 2 million is planned into a new subsidiary, of which Hirect will subscribe EUR 1 million as preference shares. The remaining EUR 1 million will be issued as equity shares, with Hirect holding 66% and promoter group companies 34%.

The acquisition brings under Hirect’s ownership advanced production and testing infrastructure, including six fully automated lines, plant and machinery, intellectual property, technology, and existing customer contracts.

Strategic rationale

BeLink is projected to generate EUR 13 million in revenue in 2025, with EUR 10 million worth of pending orders for 2026, offering strong revenue visibility. According to the company, this deal provides:

  • A European manufacturing base for EMS, robotics, and power electronics.
  • Access to advanced testing and production facilities.
  • Enhanced ability to meet evolving global customer demand.

Commenting on the acquisition, Suramya Nevatia, Chairman & Managing Director of Hirect, said it combines “advanced production capabilities with deep R&D in robotics,” strengthening Hirect’s global expansion strategy.
