Dilip Buildcon Limited has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder for a major infrastructure project in Gujarat. The announcement was made in compliance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The project has been awarded by the Narmada Water Resources Water Supply & Kalpasar Department, Government of Gujarat, and involves the construction of a flood protection embankment along the river Narmada in Bharuch district.

The project, titled “Construction of the Flood Protection Embankment on river Narmada, District Bharuch (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Basis – EPC),” carries a total contract value of ₹668.02 crore, excluding GST.

The contract will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model, with a completion timeline of 24 months from the date of commencement.

The flood protection embankment aims to strengthen riverbank infrastructure along the Narmada in Bharuch district, helping mitigate flood risks and enhance water management systems in the region. The project is expected to improve safety for nearby communities and support long-term infrastructure resilience in Gujarat.

The order has been awarded by a domestic entity, and it does not fall under related party transactions. The company has confirmed that neither the promoter nor promoter group companies have any interest in the awarding authority.
