
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has significantly boosted its order book with fresh contracts worth ₹962 crore. This includes a major ₹610 crore contract for Electro Optic Fire Control Systems (EOFCS) for the Indian Navy. The fully indigenously developed system will be installed on naval platforms, reinforcing India’s defense capabilities.
Additionally, BEL has secured orders worth ₹352 crore for advanced defense products, including anti-drone systems, fuzes, and integrated fire detection systems. These contracts further cement BEL’s position as a key player in India’s defense sector, showcasing its expertise in cutting-edge technology and indigenous manufacturing.
With these latest contracts, BEL’s total order value for the current financial year has reached ₹11,855 crore, further strengthening its position as a key defense electronics provider in India.
Bharat Electronics Q3 FY25 Results
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) delivered an impressive financial performance in Q3 FY25, showcasing robust growth in revenue and profitability. The company’s revenue surged 39% YoY to Rs 5,771 crore, up from Rs 4,162 crore in Q3 FY24. Total income also rose 38% to Rs 5,957 crore compared to Rs 4,329 crore last year.
Despite higher expenses of Rs 4,213 crore (up from Rs 3,197 crore YoY) due to increased material costs and operating expenses, BEL achieved outstanding profit growth. Profit before tax soared 54% YoY to Rs 1,744 crore, while net profit jumped 52% to Rs 1,311 crore from Rs 860 crore in Q3 FY24. This growth was driven by operational efficiencies, improved order execution, and cost management.
