HBL Engineering has received a major boost to its order book after accepting a ₹575 crore contract from the Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai. The order, which is inclusive of 18% GST, involves the supply, testing and commissioning of On-board KAVACH equipment (Version 4.0), reinforcing the company’s growing presence in India’s railway safety ecosystem.

The contract has been awarded by Integral Coach Factory, one of the key production units of Indian Railways, and is classified as a domestic order. The scope of work covers end-to-end execution, including the installation and commissioning of advanced KAVACH systems designed to enhance train safety and operational reliability.

As per the disclosed terms, the project is scheduled to be completed within a period of 12 months. The total commercial consideration stands at ₹575 crores, making it one of the significant recent wins for HBL Engineering in the railway technology segment.

Importantly, the company has clarified that none of its promoters or promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity. The transaction does not fall under the related party transaction category and has been confirmed to be conducted on a normal commercial basis.
