Voltas reported a weaker financial performance for the third quarter, with declines across key profitability and revenue metrics on a year-on-year basis, reflecting continued pressure on operating conditions.

For Q3, Voltas posted a net profit of ₹84.9 crore, down 35.7% compared with ₹132 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The sharp decline in profit indicates higher cost pressures and softer operating leverage during the period.

Revenue from operations stood at ₹3,070 crore in the quarter, marginally lower by 1.1% from ₹3,105 crore reported in Q3 of the previous year. The modest fall in revenue suggests subdued demand conditions across key segments, which weighed on overall topline growth.

Operating performance also remained under pressure. EBITDA declined 10.7% year-on-year to ₹176.6 crore, compared with ₹197 crore in the same quarter last year. The contraction in operating profit reflects the impact of cost inflation and limited pricing flexibility during the quarter.

As a result, EBITDA margin narrowed to 5.7% from 6.4% on a YoY basis, highlighting continued margin compression
