Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries shares slipped over 3% in Thursday’s trade after the company reported a sharp decline in quarterly profit despite higher revenue.
For the July–September quarter (Q2 FY26), revenue rose 7.4% year-on-year to ₹989 crore compared to ₹920 crore in the same period last year. However, EBITDA dropped 16% to ₹56.2 crore from ₹66.9 crore, with margins narrowing to 5.7% from 7.3%.
Net profit fell sharply by 56.4% to ₹23.3 crore versus ₹53.4 crore a year ago, weighed down by higher costs and lower realizations.
