JK Cement has approved a major greenfield expansion project with a total investment outlay of ₹4,805 crore. The company will set up a 7 million tonnes per annum (MnTPA) cement line, including a 4 MnTPA clinkerisation unit and 3 MnTPA grinding capacity at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Additionally, two split grinding units of 2 MnTPA each will be established in Rajasthan and Punjab.
The board also approved key management changes. Company Secretary and Compliance Officer Shambhu Singh will superannuate on October 31, 2025, after serving over 17 years. Effective November 1, 2025, Bhumika Sood, currently Deputy Company Secretary, will take charge as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer. The board has also designated Raghav Moreshwar Tare as Group Financial Controller, while Neeraj Singhal has transitioned to Head – Internal Audit & Risk Compliance.
These moves mark a significant growth and organisational shift as JK Cement expands capacity and strengthens its leadership team.
