SPML Infra shares climbed 3% after the company secured a ₹385 crore project under the Government of India’s flagship Jal Jeevan Mission. As of 10:24 AM, the shares were trading 2.12% higher at Rs 279.58.

The contract involves developing the Water Production and Supply System for the Kekri-Sarwar Sector Package-III in Ajmer, Rajasthan. This project is aimed at significantly improving rural water infrastructure and includes a 10-year Operation & Maintenance commitment.

Funded by the Jal Jeevan Mission, the initiative will supply clean drinking water to every household in the Kekri-Sarwar region. Water will be sourced from the Bisalpur Dam and delivered via newly constructed infrastructure, including a 160 MLD Water Treatment Plant and two Clear Water Reservoirs with a total storage capacity of 37.75 MLD. A 58.675-km MS pipeline will connect the system to Nasirabad, strengthening the region’s transmission network.

SPML Infra will implement advanced pumping systems, SCADA-based monitoring, and supporting civil infrastructure to ensure efficient operations. This win reinforces the company’s leadership in water infrastructure and aligns with the government’s goal of delivering reliable water supply across rural India.
