Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has added a fresh 1,011.5 MW of renewable power capacity to its portfolio, marking another step forward in its ongoing push to scale clean energy. The projects, spread across multiple step-down subsidiaries, are located in Khavda, Gujarat. With this addition, AGEL’s total operational renewable capacity now stands at 15,539.9 MW.
The decision to operationalize these plants was made in the early hours of June 30, 2025, following necessary regulatory clearances. Power generation is set to begin from July 1, 2025.
The newly commissioned capacity includes a mix of solar, wind, and hybrid projects. Among the contributors are Adani Renewable Energy Forty Five Limited, which has developed a 125 MW solar project, and Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited, which brings in both wind (52 MW) and hybrid (245 MW) capacity. Other entities involved include Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six Limited (362.5 MW solar), Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Seven Limited (175 MW solar), and Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Limited (52 MW hybrid).
These developments continue to reinforce AGEL’s presence in Gujarat’s Khavda region, which is emerging as a key hub for renewable energy projects in the country.
