In May 2025, Maruti Suzuki India Limited reported total sales of 180,077 units. This figure includes domestic sales of 138,690 units, sales to other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) amounting to 10,168 units, and exports of 31,219 units.

Within the domestic passenger vehicle segment, Maruti Suzuki sold 135,962 units. The mini segment, comprising the Alto and S-Presso models, contributed 6,776 units, while the compact segment, which includes the Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, and WagonR, recorded 61,502 units. Combined, the mini and compact segments totaled 68,278 units. The mid-size sedan Ciaz registered sales of 458 units, bringing the total passenger car sales to 68,736 units.

The utility vehicle category, which consists of models such as the Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, and XL6, achieved sales of 54,899 units. The van segment, represented solely by the Eeco, added 12,327 units to the total. Light commercial vehicles, including the Super Carry, saw sales of 2,728 units, bringing the total domestic sales (passenger vehicles and LCVs) to 138,690 units.

Sales to other OEMs stood at 10,168 units, while exports accounted for 31,219 units. In total, the company’s overall sales for May 2025 reached 180,077 units, compared to 174,551 units in May 2024.

For the cumulative April-May 2025 period, Maruti Suzuki’s total sales amounted to 359,868 units. This includes domestic sales of 280,743 units, OEM sales of 19,995 units, and exports of 59,130 units. In the same period the previous year, the company had recorded total sales of 342,640 units.
