Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) shares gained 2% following the release of strong financial results for Q4 FY2025. As of 9:15 AM, the shares were trading 1.38% higher at Rs 953.95.

The company’s net profit surged 53% YoY to ₹230 crore, compared to ₹150 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue also jumped 20.8%, reaching ₹3,053 crore.

AGEL’s EBITDA rises 30% YoY to ₹2,382 crore, with the EBITDA margin improving notably to 78%, up from 72.6%. For the full financial year 2025, revenue from power supply grew by 23% to ₹9,495 crore. Meanwhile, EBITDA from power supply surpassed the $1 billion milestone, climbing 22% to ₹8,818 crore and maintaining a strong margin of 91.7%.

The company’s cash profit likewise jumped 22% to ₹4,871 crore, reflecting AGEL’s operational excellence and tight cost control.

On the operational front, AGEL added 3.3 GW of new capacity during FY2025, expanding its total operational portfolio by 30% to 14.2 GW. The company also reaffirmed its ambitious goal of achieving 50 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030, further cementing its leadership role in India’s clean energy transition.
