Tata Elxsi shares declined more than 7% last week, ahead of the company’s Q4 FY25 earnings announcement, scheduled for Thursday, April 17.
On April 11, Tata Elxsi shares opened at ₹4,762 and touched a high of ₹4,897 before dipping to a low of ₹4,709. The stock is currently hovering near its 52-week low of ₹4,700, a sharp contrast to its 52-week high of ₹9,080.
Tata Elxsi Q3 FY25 Performance
For the quarter ending December 31, 2024, Tata Elxsi’s revenue from operations for the third quarter stood at ₹939.17 crore, a 1.6% decrease from ₹955.08 crore reported in Q2 FY25. However, the figure reflects a 2.7% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to ₹914.23 crore in Q3 FY24.
The company’s net profit came in at ₹199 crore for Q3 FY25, down 13.1% QoQ from ₹229 crore in the previous quarter, and down 3.4% YoY from ₹206 crore in Q3 FY24.
Tata Elxsi also reported a decline in EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes), which fell 7.7% QoQ to ₹220.7 crore from ₹239.2 crore in Q2 FY25. The EBIT margin narrowed to 24.2% from 25.7% in the previous quarter, reflecting the impact of increased costs and ongoing market challenges.
