As the controversy around Ranveer Allahbadia’s insensitive remark on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, is refusing to die, several comedians are facing its repercussions.
Just days after Samay deleted all the episodes of IGL from his YouTube channel, Harsh Gujral has also followed the suit and deleted all the episodes of his comedy show, The Escape Room, from his YouTube handle.
The comedian, who is known for his dark humor and bold comic style, launched his comedy show in December 2024. The show aired only two episodes before they were taken down from his channel.
Samay deleted all the episodes of his show, after multiple FIRs were lodged against him several states, including Maharashtra and Assam. The comedian also faced massive backlash on social media for the controversy. He issued a statement, wherein why admitting to delete all the episodes, he said that everything that is happening is a “bit too much for him to handle.”
Meanwhile, Samay is currently in Canada for his pre-planned tour. One of the Facebook user, who attended his latest show revealed that Samay referenced his ongoing controversy during his live performance in Edmonton, Canada.

YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia has been facing massive backlash online for his insensitive comment on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. A complaint has also been filed against Ranveer, Samay, Apoorva Mukhija (who was also one of the guests on the episode) and the organisers of the show.
Earlier, Ranveer shared an apology video wherein he regretted saying what he said.
