Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited, a leading name in the electric vehicle (EV) sector under the brands ‘Joy e-bike’ and ‘Joy e-rik,’ has made a significant move by entering the fleet operations space with the deployment of 100 electric two-wheelers in Hyderabad. This initiative marks the launch of India’s first holistic smart fleet solution, providing comprehensive support to delivery partners.
The company, in collaboration with SpeedforcEV under Optimotion, has taken a comprehensive approach, ensuring seamless fleet operations through vehicle supply, 24/7 maintenance, spare parts availability, charging infrastructure, financing, and insurance support. These integrated services are expected to maximize vehicle uptime and optimize revenue potential.
The initiative is backed by partnerships with key players such as Bluebells Insurance, Mangalam Industrial Finance Limited, and Ampvolts Limited. Cashless insurance services, charging stations, and maintenance are part of this fully integrated smart fleet model.
With this initial deployment supporting delivery giants such as Zomato, Swiggy, Flipkart, Amazon, and BigBasket, Wardwizard aims to deploy 8,000 vehicles by March 2025 and scale up to 50,000 by March 2026. The company is targeting expansions in cities like Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Kolkata, further accelerating EV adoption across India.
Chairman and Managing Director Yatin Gupte expressed his optimism, stating that this move is a “landmark moment” for India’s EV sector, designed to revolutionize last-mile mobility and enhance sustainability in fleet operations.
