In a significant move to support financial awareness among its delivery partners, Zomato has joined hands with NSE India. Through this collaboration, Zomato aims to conduct financial literacy workshops across the country, specifically tailored to the needs of its delivery partner community. The focus of these workshops is to improve understanding of personal finance management, addressing a gap identified in recent surveys which revealed that over 60% of Zomato’s delivery partners lack familiarity with basic financial instruments, such as Fixed Deposits (FDs).

The first educational workshop was held on October 22 in Hyderabad, where more than 2,000 delivery partners participated voluntarily. These sessions, specially designed for the delivery community, aim to provide foundational knowledge in finance, helping partners manage, save, and grow their finances. Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal emphasized the importance of these sessions in promoting financial independence among the delivery partners, offering them tools and insights that can lead to long-term financial stability. The collaboration with NSE India is a step forward in Zomato’s commitment to supporting the economic well-being of its workforce.
