Zomato shares dropped more than 3% in morning trade after the company announced a meeting of its board of directors scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
The meeting will focus on crucial agenda issues, such as the possibility of raising of funds through the issuance of equity shares via qualified institutional placement, pending necessary regulatory approvals.
In addition to the fundraising discussion, the board will review the unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2024.
As of 9:27 am, Zomato shares were trading 3.35% lower at Rs 261.50 on the NSE.
