Siddhant Chaturvedi, seen lately in action film Yudhra, was surprised upon meeting with Shah Rukh Khan during their first encounter. During a recent interview, Siddhant reflected on the interaction and said that, following the success of his landmark film Gully Boy, he was at a party at Zoya Akhtar’s house when a person took his hand. Upon turning around, they kissed his hand and sang their praises. “It was Shah Rukh Khan,” recalled the actor during conversation with Mashable India.

Siddhant shared, I was at Zoya’s house and someone held my hand. I turned around and they kissed my hand, and said ‘You have done such great work.’ It was Shah Rukh Khan. And I was like… this was the first time I was seeing him in person.”

The actor also recalled when Salman Khan’s praise left him in tears. It was during Bigg Boss, when Siddhant was promoting his film Bunty Aur Babli 2. As soon as he went up on stage, he started crying. He shared, “I went up on stage and I started crying because before going on the stage he said, ‘He does such good work’, and he praised me a lot. At one point, he wasn’t even telling me directly that I do good work, he was telling Rani Mukerji that he will go ahead in life. So that thing really touched me.”
