Inox Wind Limited (IWL), a leading wind energy solutions provider in India, announced that it has secured a Letter of Intent (LoI) from IGREL Renewables Ltd. (IGREL) for the execution of a 550 MW wind capacity project on a turnkey basis. The project will be implemented across multiple sites in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh over the next 24 months.

As part of the contract, Inox Wind will supply, install, and commission the wind turbine generators (WTGs), and provide multi-year comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services post-commissioning. This latest agreement adds to the firm’s previous order of 200 MW, bringing Inox Wind’s total order book to over 3.5 GW.

Mr. Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO of Inox Wind, expressed enthusiasm about this development, stating, “This is yet another milestone for Inox Wind and strengthens our goal to achieve 2 GW annual execution by FY27. With a strong order book and favorable industry conditions, Inox Wind is well-positioned to take advantage of growth opportunities in the renewable energy sector over the next decade.”

Inox Wind Limited is part of the US$ 12 billion INOXGFL Group and has four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities across Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. The company specializes in manufacturing wind turbine components and providing end-to-end solutions from concept to commissioning, including O&M services.

This new project marks a significant step forward for both Inox Wind and IGREL Renewables as they continue to contribute to India’s renewable energy capacity and the transition towards sustainable energy sources.
