In a series of tweets by Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan yesterday, the  Lok Janshakti Party patron has mentioned he’ll stand firmly with “whatever decision” his son and LJP chief Chirag Paswan takes on the party’s ties. The tweets come amid rising rift between Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and JD(U)

He also mentioned in his tweets about his health saying that it has been deteriorating for some time now.

“In the time of the coronavirus crisis, I served the country as the food minister and made every effort to ensure that food items reach on time everywhere. During this time, my health started deteriorating but to ensure that there was no laxity in work due to this, I did not go to a hospital,” Mr Paswan mentioned.

He also said,“I am happy that my son Chirag is with me at this time and is looking after me in every possible way. Besides taking care of me, he is also fulfilling his responsibilities towards the party.”

I addition he mentioned that he would stand by his son Chirag’s choice on alliance and seat sharing for the Bihar meeting polls.

“I am confident that with his youthful thinking, Chirag will take the party and Bihar to new heights. I firmly stand by all the decisions of Chirag. I hope that I will soon be well and among my loved ones,” Ram Vilas Paswan mentioned.

The decision comes after Chirag Paswan was asked by the LJP to take a stance regarding whether or not the celebration will battle towards Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar-headed Janata Dal (United) within the meeting polls and determined to organize a listing of candidates for 143 constituencies.

Chirag Paswan has also avoided attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and has even been praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s management.
