Shares of PNB Housing Finance fell by more than 6% after a significant block deal took place on May 29. Approximately 1.71 million shares, representing a 2.7 percent stake in the company, were traded in the deal.

According to CNBC-TV18, sources suggest that Asia Opportunities V Mauritius and General Atlantic Singapore Fund are likely the sellers involved in this transaction.

By 10:15 am, PNB Housing Finance shares were trading 6.10% lower at ₹739.75 on the NSE.

As per the March shareholding data for PNB Housing, Asia Opportunities V Mauritius held a 9.88 percent stake in the company, while General Atlantic Singapore Fund had a 9.82 percent stake.
