On Sunday, the Congress party has released the final list of candidates for the remaining 7 seats for the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. The party has announced the names of candidates for Baikunthpur, Saraipali, Mahasamund, Raipur North, Kasdol, Sihawa and Dhamtari.

Earlier, Congress had announced the names of 53 candidates in the second list and 30 names were announced in the first list. With this, the names of Congress candidates for all 90 assembly seats in the state have been cleared.

Congress has cancelled tickets of 4 MLAs in its final list. At the same time, the party has once again expressed confidence in Kuldeep Juneja and Ambika Singh Deo. Earlier, the party had announced the names of 53 candidates in the second list and 30 candidates in the first list.

The Election Commission had announced the election schedule in five states as well as Chhattisgarh. Voting will be held in Chhattisgarh in two phases on November 7 and November 17. The results of which will come along with the five states on December 3.
