On July 7, 43 ministers took the oath of office in the Darbar Hall of the Rashtrapati Bhavan as part of the major cabinet reshuffle by the Narendra Modi-led government. The meeting with the new Union Cabinet took place virtually on Thursday i.e. July 8.

Mandaviya says a provision for additional 20,000 ICU beds of which 20 per cent will be hybrid i.e. for children and adults has been made. The government will make a storage capacity of 10,000-litre for oxygen in every district. He adds, “Nine months is the maximum. We hope to implement it in a shorter time.” The states will have to implement as well.
