
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has urged people all over the world to start a mega protest against Russia from today i.e. March 24.
The president releases a video urging people globally to come forward against the Russian invasion. “From March 24, come with Ukrainian symbols to support Ukraine, to support freedom and life, come to your squares, to your streets, make yourselves visible & heard,” said Zelenskyy in the video.
Marking 1 month of the Russia-Ukraine war, President Zelenskyy in his speech begged the world to stop the war. “Show your standing, come from your offices, your homes, your schools, and your universities, come in the name of peace. The world must stop the war.”
Zelenskyy also called NATO for immediate & unrestricted supplies, including weapons to defend against Russian attacks.
Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden is on his visit to Europe for an emergency NATO summit. The US President is also scheduled to visit reportedly Russia’s next target, Poland. The US is planning to impose more severe sanctions on Russia & its lawmakers. Various companies have already ceased their operations in Russia & the Russian economy is greatly affected by the war & sanctions but President Vladimir Putin is not budging from his stance on Ukraine.
