Wendy Sherman, US Deputy Secretary of State said, ” By now China should have a clear picture as to what repercussions follow should it chooses to support Russia with artillery and military personnel.”
Wendy Sherman stated, “China’s Leader Xi Jinping has no memory of how we levied severe sanctions that affected Putin’s economy and brought Russia’s export status down. How Putin’s inner circle was targeted including the Oligarchs.”
While addressing the House of Representatives, Wendy Sherman at the Foreign Affairs Committee said, “President Xi by now must have had a clear picture as to what China will face should it chooses to support Russia in any manner.”
Wendy Sherman further added, ” Lessons must be learned no sooner than later from the synchronized response the West and its allies have taken against Russia, any unwarranted move against Taiwan will not be taken easily.”
Wendy Sherman referring to the Peoples Republic of China, stated, “We believe China will change any plans of encroaching Taiwan, as the united response from the West and its allies will be consequential.”
China time and again has shown extreme support towards Putin’s Russia and never for once condemned its invasion of Ukraine, although a Chinese diplomat last week stated that China will not completely bypass those sanctions.
Since the full-blown war on Ukraine by Russian troops on 24th February, China and Russia have strengthened their no-limits alliance majorly. Ukraine is still fighting for its freedom while facing military brutality by Russia.
