
Wellington, March 26 (UNI/Xinhua) New Zealand has reported 14,175 new community cases of Covid-19, said the Ministry of Health on Saturday. Among the new community infections, 2,652 were in the largest city Auckland. There were 841 Covid-19 patients in New Zealand hospitals, including 27 people at the intensive care units or high dependency units. The ministry also reported 20 deaths from Covid-19 on Saturday. The country has reported 586,157 confirmed Covid-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic. New Zealand is currently at the highest Red settings under the Covid-19 Protection Framework. At the updated Red settings starting from Friday, indoor gatherings are limited to 200 people, with no limits for outdoor gatherings.
