Lebanese Defence Minister Maurice Selim escaped an assassination attempt in Beirut on Thursday. In this Assassination attempt a unidentified gunmen opened fire on his automobile in the Jisr Al-Basha neighbourhood, striking it numerous times. According to sources the minister is “fine” and in a secure location.
