Chinese COVID-19 Vaccines end in trail phase and could be released by November

Chinese claim COVID-19 Vaccines to be released as early as November given the close end of phase trails.

China has developed a COVID vaccine which should be released by November, soon after the third phase trails end. Chief biosafety expert at the Chinese Centre for Disease Control, Wu Guizhen, said, “A vaccine will be available to the general public around November or December.”

Guizhen will release no further details on the vaccine she was referring to. All we know is that “based on phase-III clinical results, the current progress is very smooth.”

She has taken one of nine vaccine candidates in April and has reported well-being and good health ever since. However, she has not disclosed the vaccine candidate she used.

Currently, there are nine vaccine candidates in their last phase trials on patients. However, clinical trials were momentarily paused last week after a volunteer developed an unexplained illness.

Some vaccine candidates have also been offered to essential workers under an emergency use program. A Sinovac speaker reported that “tens of thousands” of patients had voluntarily to get treated by the vaccine.
