Certain positive shifts have been made in talks with Ukraine: Vladimir Putin

Germany & France are in continuous talks with President Putin & are urging to stop the war. 

On Friday, March 11, the president of Russia Vladimir Putin said that the talks with Ukraine have made some progress.

“There are certain positive shifts, negotiators on our side tell me,” Putin said in a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko. The Russian president did not reveal any details related to the progress.

The meeting between Russia & Ukraine took place on Thursday & the outcome was not fruitful. Till now 2.5 million people have fled Ukraine as per a report by the UN. Russia is increasing its airstrikes on various cities.

Meanwhile, US & other countries are trying to stop the war by imposing economic sanctions on Russia. The US is likely to end its normal trade relations with Russia. Germany & France are in continuous talks with President Putin & are urging to stop the war.
