Attention, Miraculous fans: Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir Season 7 is officially being worked on, but it won’t premiere in May 2026.

Despite the excitement of seeing Season 6 launched globally, the Miraculous Ladybug Wiki and other industry insiders indicate that Season 7 is set for a Fall 2026 release instead of a Spring 2026 premiere. The new 26 episodes are in post-production, with animation completed, but final edits, dubbing, and scheduling at respective streaming services are yet to be finished.

What is the reason behind the delay? Season 6 still has staggered international premieres, with the final episodes expected to deliver during April, May, or June of 2026, through Disney+ and other regional broadcasters. Logistically, a May release for Season 7 would require simultaneous delivery around the globe — not something that usually works due to the franchise’s complicated multinational production systems between Zag Animation, Disney, Gloob, and Super RTL.

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir returns for season 6 on November 1st, 2026, via Disney+. When will they return for season 7? Expect fall 2027! Keep your eyes peeled for updates from us regarding the next round of episode releases.

What’s causing all this excitement? Recent social media chatter regarding fan edits and leaked teasers has created quite a stir; however, there seems to be a lack of clarity concerning what is actually confirmed. So far as we know, Season 7 will see the continuation of the “Miraculous World.” More specifically, that means higher stakes for our main characters, new characters being added to the Miraculous roster, and more backstory being developed for Marinette and Adrien, etc.

As for a release date, May 2026 is now not possible, and we should expect Season 7 to premiere next Fall (September/October) with announcements this upcoming summer. Until then, let’s continue to support Season 6 because it’s going to take a lot of patience before we see Ladybug’s next transformation.
