Bollywood filmmakers have been reaching out to Hollywood stars for years, and now Sydney Sweeney is reportedly the latest to receive an offer. Known for her standout roles in Euphoria and The White Lotus, Sydney has been approached to star in what is said to be one of India’s most expensive film projects ever.
According to reports, the deal on the table is worth around £45 million, which is over 530 crore rupees. This includes a £35 million acting fee and another £10 million linked to sponsorships and brand tie-ins. The producers are hoping her huge global fanbase will help the film reach audiences around the world and give it international appeal.
If Sydney agrees, she would play a young American actress who falls in love with a famous Indian celebrity. The story promises a glamorous international setting, with filming scheduled for early 2026 in major cities like New York, Paris, London, and Dubai.
A source close to Sydney said she was initially shocked by the offer, calling it an incredible sum. The project, however, also excites her because of its potential to raise her global profile. The insider added that while nothing is decided yet, Sydney is considering her options carefully. Money isn’t everything for her, and she already has other projects lined up, but this film could push her acting career to new heights.
