Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films have confirmed that Fallout Season 2 will premiere on December 17, 2025, exclusively on Prime Video. The new season will run for eight episodes, with one episode dropping each week until the finale on February 4, 2026. Fans worldwide will be able to stream it not only in English but also with Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam dubs, marking a broader global rollout.
The announcement came during Gamescom 2025’s Opening Night Live, where a brand-new teaser trailer was unveiled to an audience of more than 5,000 fans. The event also featured executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and Graham Wagner, alongside stars Ella Purnell and Aaron Moten. The teaser gave audiences their first chilling glimpse of the Deathclaw while also confirming that Justin Theroux will join the cast as Robert House, a pivotal figure in the Fallout universe.
Season 2 will pick up immediately after the Season 1 finale, venturing deeper into the Mojave wasteland and the chaotic streets of New Vegas. Returning characters Lucy (Ella Purnell), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) will continue their stories, now with even higher stakes and fresh dangers in their path. Like the games, the show will keep its balance of dark humor, survivalist themes, and exploration of the inequality between survivors in a fractured world.
Since its debut, Fallout has grown into one of Prime Video’s most successful originals, amassing over 100 million viewers globally and securing a spot among the platform’s top three most-watched series ever. The show is produced by Kilter Films in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, with executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Graham Wagner, Todd Howard, and Athena Wickham at the helm.
For those eager to catch up or revisit the chaos before Season 2 arrives, Fallout Season 1 remains available to stream now on Prime Video.
