Stock market today: S&P 500 and NASDAQ 100 inch higher by 0.31% and 0.69% in early trading

As of 9:46 AM EST, the U.S. stock market is showing positive momentum across major indices as trading began on Thursday. Indices in Wall Street are rallying higher after major corporate earnings were released yesterday. Investors are also waiting for the inflation data to come out on Friday and how it is going to impact the market. 

The S&P 500 climbed to 5,974.31 USD, reflecting a 0.31% increase. Technology stocks led the charge, pushing the NASDAQ 100 Index up to 21,278.79 USD, a gain of 0.69%.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average also posted gains, rising to 43,663.94 USD, marking a 0.53% uptick. Meanwhile, the NASDAQ Composite Index advanced to 19,202.67 USD, up by 0.67%. The NYSE Composite Index followed suit with a modest increase, reaching 19,981.24 USD, reflecting a 0.24% gain.
