Queen Elizabeth II has reached a significant milestone in her reign as Sovereign Queen. Her official style is by the Grace of God, Queen of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the British Dominions beyond the Seas, Defender of the Faith and Head of Commonwealth. Moreover, having reigned for 70 years and 127 days, as of Monday. She has become the Second Longest-Serving Monarch in the recorded history of the world and the longest-serving female sovereign ever in history. Her Majesty is only second to Louis XIV of France who became king at the age of four.
She has taken over from King Bhumibol Adulyadej also known as King Rama IX who died in 2016. King Bhumibol had ruled Thailand for 70 years and 126 days. Thus, Queen Elizabeth II has officially overtaken him on Monday as of June 13, 2022.

It has also been confirmed that if the Queen continues to reign establishing her rule till 2024. Therefore, she would overtaken King Louis XIV of France. Therefore, to become the longest-reigning monarch in history of the world.
At the young age of 25, she lost her father, King George VI. At 27, she was officially coronated with the Imperial crown at Westminster Abbey in London.
Last week Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Platinum Jubilee on the extended bank holiday across the United Kingdom. People had joined the celebration from around the world. The celebration was marked by a pageant involving politicians, workers, etc. alongside the entire Royal Family. The procession began with a performance by the soldiers, who had brought with them mementoes of the Queen’s rule, including the Gold State Coach, which Her Majesty rode during the coronation. The pageant was marked by the flow of fashion starting from 1956 to 2022 which was followed by music, dance, and other performances.
According to reports the Queen has not been keeping well amid episodic mobility issues. And has decreased her interaction with the public. However, she continues her constitutional and imperative duties as the monarch. However, her duties have been performed in the past by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall who have taken up a more significant role. Her appearance during the Jubilee weekend has also begged the question about the next time that the world would be able to see Her Majesty the Queen.
