Naga Chaitanya finally breaks silence on divorce with Samantha; says, ‘If she is happy, then I’m happy’

Naga Chaitanya finally reacted on his separation from Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The actor also stated, “That is a mutual decision made for their happiness.”

Last year in October, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed the news of their separation through a social media post, the fans were shocked hearing the announcement of their divorce.

Eventually, Naga broke the silence on his divorce from Samantha. Naga shared during a media interaction, “It is ok to be separated. That is a mutual decision made for their happiness. If she is happy, then I am happy. So divorce is the best decision in such a situation.”

In a joint statement on October 2, Naga had shared on Instagram, “ To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Sam and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support.”

According to the sources, After their Marriage, Samantha changed her surname everywhere on social media and added the surname ‘Akkineni’.  Now the stunning actress has removed the surname from all the social media handles.

Samantha revealed that she will talk about their divorce when she will feel like talking about it and not before that she also added that ‘she is entitled to her own opinion like everyone else and she will not lose her mind in the controversy’.

Samantha had told Filmfare, “I know I’m still going to live my life and with all the issues that I now faced in my personal life, I was surprised at how strong I was. I thought I was a much weaker person. I thought that with my separation, I would crumble and die. I didn’t think I was capable of being this strong…Today I’m very very proud of how strong I’m because I didn’t know I was.”
