
On Chandrayaan-3’s Moon landing, Nilesh M. Desai, Director, Space Applications Center-ISRO, Ahmedabad said, We will decide on August 23 whether or not it will be appropriate to land Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon at that time based on the state of the lander module and the lunar environment. We will land the module on the Moon on August 27 if any unfavourable circumstances arise. We will be able to land the module on August 23 without any issues.
A two-way contact between the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter and the lander module of Chandrayaan-3 has been established, according to ISRO on Monday.
On July 14, Chandrayaan-3 was launched from Sriharikota’s Satish Dhawan Space Center.

According to information released by ISRO on Sunday, Chandrayaan-3, India’s third lunar mission, is scheduled to land its lander module on the moon’s surface on August 23 at 6:04 p.m.
On Wednesday, August 23, around 5:20 p.m., the landing event will begin to air live on television.
The ISRO said on X (formerly Twitter) that “the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 is a monumental moment that not only fuels curiosity but also sparks a passion for exploration within the minds of our youth.”
