Indian cricketer Amit Mishra recently posted a sensational tweet, hitting out directly to the “Tiranga” detractors. Amit Mishra’s opinion made clear that he wanted to criticize the ones who are not in favour to change their display pictures to “Tiranga”
“Those who were changing their profile picture to Palestine and Ukraine are now asking what will happen if we change our display pictures to Tiranga,” Mishra tweeted while extending support to the Centre’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. “It’s our right and a way to show our love and respect for our Tiranga.”
In the recent ‘Mann ki Baat’ by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, PM urged the people of India to change their social media display pictures to Indian flag from August 2nd to August 15th.
While some netizens hailed Amit Mishra for his “googly tweet”, many of the users got offended by the Indian cricketers tweet and commented –

Everyone loves tiranga and no one is saying this kind of things or opposing it— Muhammad hammad khan 🥀🇮🇳 (@Not_ur_Aladdin) August 5, 2022
Seriously ??? Why only on the instructions of PM ??? Is this your way to show your love for your country ??
Would be great if you can play on field instead of politics.— Eyeopener (@Eyeopener001) August 5, 2022
