“Kamaal ho Mishra ji,” netizens reacts to Indian cricketer Amit Mishra’s sensational “Tiranga” tweet

In his most recent “Mann ki Baat,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Indians to change their social media profile pictures with images of the national flag from August 2 through August 15.

In order to urge people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to commemorate India’s 75th anniversary of independence, the central government sponsored the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign under the auspices of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

“Our relationship with the flag has always been more formal and institutional than personal. Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation in the 75th year of independence thus becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building,” the Centre said while launching the campaign.

Indian cricketer Amit Mishra, recently sent out a shocking tweet in which he addressed the “Tiranga” haters. In his opinion, Amit Mishra stated clearly that he intended to criticise those who are opposed to changing their display photos to “Tiranga.”

“Those who were changing their profile picture to Palestine and Ukraine are now asking what will happen if we change our display pictures to Tiranga. It’s our right and a way to show our love and respect for our Tiranga,” tweeted Amit Mishra.

Twitterati commented on Amit Mishra’s tweet and hailed the leg-spinner for his ‘smacking’ words to the ‘Tiranga’ detractors. Check out these replies by ‘Mishra fans’ –
