On Wednesday, India’s Coronavirus tally jumped to 7,67,296 and the death toll rose to 21,129. The states recorded 24,879 fresh cases and 487 fatalities in the last 24 hours. Currently, India has 2,69,789 active cases while 4,76,378 patients have been cured or recovered from the Coronavirus infection. The recovery rate has now improved to 62%.

– Maharashtra continues to be the worst-affected Indian state with the highest number of Coronavirus cases recorded.
– The total number of cases stands at 2,23,724 and 91,084 cases are still active.
– A total of 9,448 patients have succumbed to death till date.

– Tamil Nadu has a total of 1,22,350 cases out of which 74,167 have recovered.
– The active cases now stand at 46,483.
– The number of deaths reported by the state stands at 1,700.

– Delhi reported 2,033 new cases on Wednesday taking the state’s tally to 1,04,864
– The death toll has increased to 3,213.

India is the third worst-hit nation across the globe. The US has about 3 million Coronavirus cases whereas Brazil has over 1.6 million victims.
