India recorded over 11,000 fresh Coronavirus cases for the third straight day. The total number of Coronavirus cases in India has reached 332,424. Maharashtra continued to be the worst-affected Indian state and recorded over 3,000 positive cases in the last 24 hours. National capital Delhi and Tamil Nadu also had a big spike in their number of cases on Sunday.
The total number of fatalities reported by India reached 9,520. In the last 24 hours, at least 307 patients succumbed to the virus.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of active Coronavirus cases in India stands at 153,106.
-Maharashtra’s total number of cases reached 1,07,958.
-In the last 24 hours, the state reported 3,390 fresh Coronavirus cases.
-Around 120 patients died on Sunday, bringing the state’s death toll to 3,950.
-Tamil Nadu’s Coronavirus count reached the 45,000 mark.
-On Sunday, 1,974 people tested for the Coronavirus infection.
-The number of fatalities reached 435 as 38 people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours.
-The Coronavirus cases in Delhi reached the 40,000 mark.
-In the last 24 hours, 2,224 fresh Coronavirus cases were reported.
-Over 10,000 positive cases have been reported by the state in the last 6 days.
To review the Coronavirus situation in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the state Chief Ministers through video conferencing on June 16 and 17.
